GREEN BIN BOWL meals.

This is what my kids labeled these bowls we have been making for dinner. 🌱

At first I felt insulted they called our dinners a green bin…. I quickly realized that these bowls provided all of the nutrient we need and enjoy AND are so easy to make!

Choose your protein
Choose your veggies
Choose your carbohydrate
Choose your fat

Theme the bowl….Italian, Greek, Chinese, Thai or any spices you like, cook and create your bowl!

Do you travel a lot for work? Not sure what to do

Do you travel a lot for work? Not sure what to do when you are away?

Setting yourself up once you arrive to your destination is a great way to ensure you will have good choices readily available to you!

I have worked with many clients that travel for work and it can be similar to weekend habits….great during the week and when not In your regular environment a complete opposite of what you would normally do which creates that yo-yo pattern.

Do your best to create the same when you are away.
-drink water
-exercise, going to a different gym can be fun
-have your training program readily available to you so you have your plan of action
-stock the fridge with veggies,fruit and protein to ensure good habits
-don’t forget to get a good nights sleep 💤

Don’t forget to pack your training gear, runners and your water bottle!!

Someone’s Pants Are Too Big!!

How did this happen!?

A year of small changes and CONSISTENCY!💪🏻🌱

Evan is celebrating all of these results over the last year!
-increased strength
-increased energy
-better sleep
-fewer headaches
-more confidence in the kitchen around meal planning
-exercise and better nutritional choices are part of her life
-down 5% bodyfat
-down 20 inches
-she feels like an athlete again!
**NO dieting**

I asked Evan, where were you before training?
“Before training I had gotten away from being my athletic self, going through pregnancy and body changes. I knew I was not myself when I looked in the mirror anymore. I thought I had to limit training and be so careful through my first pregnancy(no training and none of my regular high intensity sport) however I quickly learned through my second pregnancy that I could stay active. After my second pregnancy I knew I was ready to get back to my athletic self and regain my energy for my kids sake!”

A recent conversation Evan and I had was that she felt maybe she was not doing enough as it seemed fairly easy.
As her coach this made me jump for joy as we were able to add in training, nutrition changes and a plan that FITS her lifestyle for success!!!

SMALL CHANGES= RESULTS!

Do you even like the food that you have prepared?

This is a conversation I have had all too often. We all have good intention of being healthier and making better choices for ourselves. To have LONG TERM success you have to actually like the food you are eating otherwise you will go back to the same as before.

You do not have to eat just chicken and broccoli to lean out, you can have a huge variety of food AND eat food that you really enjoy with the results you want.🌱

I encourage my clients to make a list of what they DO like and we go from there to build a list of YES for success!
